NEW YORK, July 21, 2023 — Twentyeight Health, a telehealth company increasing access to sexual and reproductive care for women from underserved communities, announced that they have been recognized as the “Best Overall Women’s Health Solution Provider” by the 2023 MedTech Breakthrough Awards..edTech Breakthrough Awards
The MedTech Breakthrough Awards program recognizes outstanding companies, individuals, platforms, and products in the health, fitness, and medical technology industries, like Twentyeight Health. These awards celebrate breakthrough innovations in digital health. The evaluation criteria for the awards focus on innovation, performance, ease of use, functionality, value, and impact.

Twentyeight Health is harnessing the convenience and benefits of telehealth to offer high-quality and affordable prescription and delivery services for sexual and reproductive health care including birth control and herpes medication. Additionally, Twentyeight Health accepts Medicaid in many of the states it’s available in — often the only birth control telehealth platform in a state to accept Medicaid — and provides free birth control for women who are not able to pay out of pocket through a partnership with Bedsider’s Contraceptive Access Fund. Twentyeight also donates 2% of revenues to Bedsider, and the National Institute for Reproductive Health.
