2. Role

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Engineer who is excited about our mission and eager to deliver impact while joining a dynamic team. In this role, you will design, build, and implement new services and features within the full stack. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of writing production code, and architecting complex systems for long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability. Your focus will have a real impact on the lives of thousands of patients every day. 

3. Manager

 You will report directly to the Head of Engineering, Eric Whitten, who has been leading and growing the tech team at Twentyeight Health since 2020.

4. Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement new services and features within the full stack
  • Drive features and products through the full development lifecycle
  • Have the unique opportunity to contribute and drive an engineering culture that focuses on quality, user experience and impact
  • Opportunity to scale and automate existing services while bringing new innovations to life
  • Take end to end ownership and responsibility for architecture, deployment, and maintenance of product features
  • Coordinate tasks with your teammates and collaborate with the entire company to refine requirements to deliver the best product to our customers
  • Identify and squash bugs
  • Analyze and optimize client-side UI and server-side API code for efficiency and performance

5. Requirements

We are looking for exceptional candidates who have:

  • Have 3+ years of experience writing production code
  • Have architected complex systems for long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability
  • Have familiarity with the entire stack - Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Bootstrap4, JQuery
  • Bonus: Experience with Heroku and AWS
  • Are based in the US.
